In this tour, we will explore the of Mandalay by visiting it famous palace, Shwenandaw monastery, Kuthodaw pagoda which is known of world’ biggest book it buddist scriptures. Discover U Bein bridge which is 200 years old built of teak woods. Follow up by visting to Sagaing Hill, Mingu Bell and Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Mandalay (L, D)

Arrive by morning flight at Mandalay International Airport. Our representative guide will welcome you at the airport and then transfer to hotel for check in we will visit gold foil – making cottage industry to see the ways of life the local and have a lunch at a local restaurant , followed by afternoon sightseeing that begins with Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World’s Biggest Book for its marble slabs of Buddhist scriptures and evening visit Amarapura – an ancient capital built on the advice of astrologers, proceed to U Bein Bridge to take a walk It is an old wooden bridge across the Taung Thanman Lake which is built over 200 years ago and 1.2 km long. We will enjoy the sunset view of the Ayeyarwaddy river. And then drive back to Mandalay and dinner time at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel Mandalay.

Day 02: Mandalay- Sagaing – Mingun (B, L, D)

In the early morning, we will visit Maha Myat Muni pagoda to see the daily face washing ritual of the Maha Myat Muni Buddha image. Everymorning at 4 or 4:30 am, the monks wash the face and brush the teeth of the Buddha image. and then transfer back to hotel, after breakfast, drive to Sagging Hill – known as the center for meditation with hundreds of Pagodas, Monasteries and Nunneries tucked into the surrounding valleys and hills. Proceed to U Min Thonze, Pagoda of the 30 Caves which have many Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade and Sun Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda which was constructed in 1312, the view of Sagaing from there is marvelous and then proceed to Kaunghmudaw Pagoda – an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; and visit Pottery and Silversmith workshops. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the world’s largest ringing bell exist. Tour highlights include Mingun Bell, a mammoth unfinished Mingun Pagoda, Myatheintan Pagoda, Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda, Mingun village and environs.Back to Mandalay by enjoying the sunset view over the Mighty Ayeyarwaddy River View. Overnight at hotel Mandalay.

Day 03: Departure from Mandalay (B)

After breakfast, will transfer to Mandalay international airport for departure.
