In this tour, we will explore the of Mandalay by visiting it famous palace, Shwenandaw monastery, Kuthodaw pagoda which is known of world’ biggest book it buddist scriptures. Follow up by visting to Sagaing Hill, Mingu Bell and Kaunghmudaw Pagoda, an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century. Cross over Kalaw, to visit Pindaya Lake and Pindaya cave to explore the interesting stupas. In addition, we will visit Inle lake and it attractions : floating markets, traditional pagodas and observe the scenic beauty.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Mandalay
Arrive by morning flight at Mandalay International Airport, We will transfer to hotel for check in .First sightseeing visit Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most sacret Buddha Image in Mandalay. Then a short visit to Gold foil making cottage industry. Lunch time at local restaurant and followed by afternoon sightseeing that begins with Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the World’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Tour continues to Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic view of the city and a spectacular sunset view.It is worthy to have a stroll up the hill enjoying panoramic views from different location. Return can be made by car as there is also a car track by the base of elevator just before the platform. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 02: MANDALAY-HEHO-PINDAYA-NYAUNGSHWE (INLE LAKE)
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Drive to the small quiet town Pindaya, 48 km north of Kalaw, to visit Pindaya Lake and Pindaya cave, well-known for its countless Buddha images. Enjoy also the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya through picturesque landscapes. Visit bamboo- umbrella domestic workshop as well.
Afternoon drive back to Nyaung Shwe where Inle Lake is situated. Overnight at hotel in Nyaungshwe.
Day 03: Nyaung Shwe (Inle Lake)
After breakfast Excursion in Inle Lake ( by boat ) visiting to the following places like unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty, fishing canoes using special methods for fishing and collecting seaweed, lakebed mud etc to make floating gardens. Then you will visit well known Nga Pe Chaung ( Jumping Cat ) monastery and Silver smith factory.After that visit to Cheroot making factory, Boat making carpentry workshop, Silk weaving factory. In the lave afternoon, visit the most famous Paungdaw Oo Pagoda. On the way back to Nyaung Shwe you will pass through some villages to enjoy life on the lake. Overnight at hotel in Nyaung Shwe.
DAY 04: Heho-Mandalay
After breakfast, visit to Indein, the hidden treasure of Pa-O ethnic tribes to see the ruin pagodas in the forest. Then transfer to Heho airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
DAY 05: Deaparture from Mandalay
After breakfast, will transfer to Mandalay international airport for Departure.
