In this tour, visit the heart of Yangon : Scott Market, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, City Hall, High Court and many colonial style building then experiencing sunset cruise. Follow up by vising “ Golden Rock” which is one of the world’s wonders. Lastly, visiting to Bago which is an ancient mon capital with many histories and interesting pagodas.
Itinerary
Day 01: ARRIVAL IN YANGON (L, D)
Arrive by morning flight at Yangon International Airport. Our representative guide will welcome you and then transfer to hotel for check in. First sightseeing to Bogyoke Aung San Market, also known as Scott Market (Inside the market you can find various kinds of local products, souvenir and traditional clothes)and then proceed to the heart of Yangon such as Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, City Hall, High Court and many colonial style building. Afternoon visit the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats! And then proceed to jetty embark on board for an unforgettable (two hour)Sunset Cruise and enjoy complimentary beverages and snacks. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 02: YANGON- KYAIKHTIYO (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel and then visit to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda also known as (GOLDEN ROCK) which is about 160 km from Yangon. It stands on a gilded boulder precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 3615 feet above sea level. There are many interesting legends about the Pagoda and Nat (Spirit Gods) shrines along the way from the base camp to the pagoda. There is also a popular belief that a person gains wealth every time he climbs the hill. The coach has to stop at Kinpun Base camp. From there you have to take an truck which is normally used for hilly track up to the golden rock. Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
Day 03: GOLDEN ROCK-BAGO-YANGON (B,L,D)(By truck)
After breakfast, we will return to Yangon by coach. En route visit at Bago, the ancient capital city of Mon ethnic group. It is 80 Kilometers northeast of Yangon. Sightseeing tour highlights include attractions in Bago: Bago colorful market, to observe the ways of life of local people, ShweMawDaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar, KanBawZarthardi Palaces, Shwethalyaung, the world’s most beautiful Reclining Buddha Iamge, Kyaikpun Pagodaand t hen drive back to Yangon. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
DAY 04: DEPARTURE FROM YANGON (B)
After Breakfast, will transfer to YANGON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for departure.
